SF Station Is Seeking Content Interns for Arts, Music and Clubs

SF Station allows the community to add events, but we also need Content Interns to ensure that SF Station gets as much coverage as it can.

Job Needs

You must be able to commit to ~ six hours per week for three months. The majority of that time will be data entry -- finding the best events happening in the Bay Area and adding them into our system. Internships are available in our art, music, and clubs sections.

You must be detail-oriented and have a firm grasp on the local Bay Area scene -- be it in art, music or clubs. You must also be willing to reach out to the community; for example, dropping flyers as they move about town, letting business owners know that they can add their own event listings and promoting SF Station wherever the opportunity arises.

Some basic web skills are required -- you have to know how to use a browser & edit press releases. Photoshop & Excel skills are a plus.

You must also have access to a computer and a high-speed internet connection outside of the office.

Music and Art interns must be at least 18 years old. Club interns must be 21+.

Compensation

Although the Content Intern's position is unpaid for the first three months, SF Station is committed to paying a stipend after the introductory three-month period passes. If you fit our culture and feel comfortable working with us, we would definitely like to discuss further possibilities if an opening becomes available.

In addition, the Content Intern position allows for ample networking opportunities. You will be able to meet people in a field that interests you. For example, if you were SF Station's Arts Content Interns, the opportunity would be there to meet artists & gallery owners, go to museums for free, and even make contacts for a future job. The same applies to our music and clubs positions.
